Noah gets a Tattoo

The phone, that is. It’s short, but to the point. I’m not super thrilled about using a QVGA resistive screen personally, but if it gets Android to a broader audience, I’ll consider it a good thing – if the phone works well.

    Simple Math…

Android OS > rest of the OS’s

Rosie aka HTC Sense UI > rest of the UI’s (2nd favorate is MotoBlur but not enough to leave Rosie)

HTC Sprint Hero is Great but Sprint is to crappy in my area. No contract for u Sprint.

    HTC Tabboo = HTC Hero Light (This one is J U S T R I G H T…)

Wait what was that… A freaking resistive screen… Are you crazy… That’s like adding a tea spoon of “mud” to ice cream. It might only be a touch of “mud” but you ruin the whole gallon of ice cream… WTFWYT!!!!!

I don’t think I’ll be able to get over HTC Tattoo having a resistive screen. And this vid just reinforced that. You can see the HTC Tattoo missing some simple screen slides. I am not talking pinching or what ever… Just simple, left to right, dash changes. This would get frustrating very quickly. Which is a shame since it Rosie seems to run so smooth if not for the crappy screen.

Watch Noah’s HTC Hero vid & Noah’s HTC Tattoo vid… I don’t think Noah is a rookie with resistive screens, so the prob is the freaking resistive screen. Take a look at the vids side by side. The HTC Tattoo’s resistive screen just ruins Rosie. Having a phone miss a simple screen swipe… Which you see it do on the vid just about kills this phone for me. I really hope one or more of the US carriers makes HTC upgrade to a capacitive screen before launch. If one of them does. They can lock me in for 2 years.

I actually prefer resistive screens (fill in all the usual arguments here).
