Tattoo disrobed in German video

Although it maybe a bit reminiscent of it, this device is obviously not as flexible as the little naked core that is Modu. But it looks like HTC is leaving the possibilities open when it comes to the customization of their affordable Android phone, Tattoo. I can’t understand a word of what the demonstrator is saying, so he could be ripping the phone apart, irreperably damaging it, for all I know.

Hes telling some hardware specs an that it will be release in mid-end october , the isn't yet a carrier set. And he mentions that you can strip it down from its casing, buy alternate casing, or even design your own casing wich you will be able to order from a yet to be mentioned website, an he is proud to present it at first. Not to forget that it is a low rage phone but please don't call it cheap.

its so you can put on custom plates thats the gimmick for customizing it, like the myTouch with Google

HA! Just want I want...more pieces to rattle. My G1 is already vibrating itself to death. Although I do like the fact that you can customize the entire shell, rather than just the batter cover. It takes me back to my old Nokia. cheers, breon

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the creaky squeaky, either.
