If you don’t know what Tubaloo is about, please read my article about PhoneDog, Tubaloo: Android VoIP via 3G. That post provides a little bit of context regarding the need for VoIP solutions around the world. Then, check out A look at Tubaloo for Android.
The short and skinny of it is that Tubaloo facilitates VoIP over 3G and intelligently routes your call based on rules and preferences you set up. As you can imagine, the implications are pretty significant – especially in Calling Party Pays markets.
Tubaloo goes into public beta as of today, and I’ve got 100 invitations. Just go to Tubaloo’s mobile site at http://m.tubaloo.com/, and enter the code, droidog (just one ‘d’ in the middle). Agree to the terms and download the apk. You’ll need to allow installations from unknown sources.
Download it, try it out, and please leave a comment here about your experience. More importantly, email email@example.com. What do you like about it? What could be improved? Have you found a bug that you can recreate? Please list the steps in your email.
Thanks, all. Your help is appreciated and contributes to the quality of the end product.
