i have a question regarding the Magic and Hero. the Sense UI is coming to the Magic, but what one? HTC says itll give updates to non-google phones, but how will THOSE phones get google updates??
Dan the Hero, it would all be done through the carrier. MyTouch3G, while technically a Magic, is incapable of handling the Sense UI, as it has the same RAM as a G1. This is 96 RAM less than Hero and the European Magic. HTC does an excellent job of posting all their updates on their support pages of their website. The upgrade to Sense will be optional to the customer. Hero and Magic function differently than the G1 and can upgrade much like a Windows Mobile device. Hope that helps.
