Android 2.0 Eclair photodump!

Well, BGR teased us yesterday with a video of the first Verizon Android phone, Droid, booting up along with the tantalizing promise that there was more to follow. And here is part one of that promise delivered; a walk-through of Android 2.0, complete with screenshots.

Among the leak is evidence of a universal inbox, Maps 4.0, an app for simple phone (and street) navigation while driving, text-to-speech options, Facebook integration, a YouTube widget, contact upgrades and more, more, MORE! Some of these elements are unique to the MOTODROID while others are just Android 2.0. Eclair… is that a fat droid’s name?

Have I mentioned how much I really like Eclairs? The only better way to have an Eclair is to have it delivered by to you by a "Hero".

Hot. I'm not 100% sold that everything in the shot is 'stock 2.0'. Some of it could be custom ROM or custom apps/widgets for a specific handset. 6 months ago if you showed me HTC Sense and said it was cupcake, I would have believed it. Now I know that Sense is just a collection of apps, widgets and a Home replacement created by HTC.

FTA: "Some of these elements are unique to the MOTODROID while others are just Android 2.0."

Looks a lot like Android G1 1.0 - everything I have seen/heard about every other Android phone pales in comparison to the Hero
