Moment in the hizzy

Did I really just say that? Yes, yes I did. I’ve only got this particular device for a day or two, then it’s off to Kravitz in San Francisco for his reviews, dogfights, and whatever else he has in mind. I think another one might be headed my way though, so feel free to ask questions and tell me what you’d like to see on video. You can get me on Twitter @PhoneDog_John or SMS me at 503-MOB-BARK. Be sure to specify the phone you’re inquiring about. For instance, you could just start the message off with “Moment.” It’s too easy to get those questions mixed up.

I’ll probably just spend this first visit getting acquainted. For now, check out my unboxing over at PhoneDog. My first impression? It’s nice. I love the AMOLED screen, but without an oleophobic coating, man… it’s tough to clean! I can see how Hero could spoil a person.

I'm definitely trying to have a talk with myself and make sure I know which phone I want to get when my contract upgrade comes in January, I love both of these phones. I have gripes with both of the phones, and I suppose it'll ultimately be up to me to decide on if I want to get the hero or the moment.

My first phone was a samsung, it was decent. But Samsung was the one who always thought their designs were "Original or Different" but yes i have to agree they are. But honestly, Samsung has the most ugliest phones i've seen. No wonder whenever i think of samsung i think of cheap. This phone does look promising, i would take it and ditch my hero for a physical keyboard but if im planning to go 2 years with this thing, it needs a new design, because its just hideous.

DO YOU THINK I WILL BE ABLE TO USE THE DOCK FROM MOTOROLA WITH IT? SINCE IS JUST MAGNETS ON THE BACK . OR IS JUST A DROID THING.

The DROID accessories are unique to the Droid. Motorola made the phone so that it would interact with the magnets in the way that it does. If someone else were to make a phone with a similar design concept it would maybe work, but would probably not fit in the DROID dock due to difference in size dimensions. The docks only work with the DROID.
