Motorola made the phone so that it would interact with the magnets in the way that it does. If someone else were to make a phone with a similar design concept it would maybe work, but would probably not fit in the DROID dock due to difference in size dimensions. But Samsung was the one who always thought their designs were "Original or Different" but yes i have to agree they are. But honestly, Samsung has the most ugliest phones i've seen. No wonder whenever i think of samsung i think of cheap. This phone does look promising, i would take it and ditch my hero for a physical keyboard but if im planning to go 2 years with this thing, it needs a new design, because its just hideous.
