Motorola’s nerdiness and yes, Arabic numerals

Forget that whole mess about deciphering Droid drop dates. Motorola is sending out some cute little teaser packs, and (possibly to counteract the confusion caused by their encoded countdown) a glossy little post card with an actual date; 11.09. But guess what… People are now debating whether it means November 9th or November of 2009. Considering the ending of the DroidDoes.com intro, I’d go with the latter.

But I’m sick of talking about Droid dates. Here are some snaps of the promo packs Moto is sending out. These are from Gear Log.

the Droid's strongest point is most likely the fact that it falls under the Verizon umbrella -- it will be right out in front of millions of people as soon as it makes it's way to the stores

i dont know what they really are, but i'm sure that they are not arabic

Arabic numerals as opposed to Roman numerals. There's a differing opinion on the origin of modern Arabic (Hindu) numerals, but 1. 2. 3. etc are generally called Arabic numerals.

These are not arabic numerals

Would you refer to them as Hindu numerals, or do you mean because they are being used for date?
