It looks like it will have 1.5 in the stores and you'll upgrade straight to 2.0 later. As for the differences in 2.0, check out the Halloween Saturday Wrap. There will be some good links in the Eclair section.

okay, so im going to get this phone, it comes out tomorrow, but ima try to get it today via phone later on, but im a little confused here. I like how 1.6 runs and everything, but not really 2.0. I have two questions, is there a big difference on appearance between 1.6 and 2.0? and also the moment is shipping with what? 2.0?

DroidDog mod and very good friend of PhoneDog, John Edgar (a.k.a. Strongbow), is reporting that new devices will ship with 1.5 or 2.0; nothing in between. Thank you for the clear explanation, John!

I see that these were "words" and "guesses" on the part of Phonedog John. When I see it I'll believe it. Do we even know whom this person e-mailed at Sprint? They could have e-mailed CS or somebody there that is also taking a guess. I noticed one of the reviewers recently thought that his review unit Samsung Moment had 1.6 when, when it later looked again and it was 1.5. I just can't imagine so late in the game with manufacturing and distribution how Sprint would have Samsung Moment's upgraded with 1.6. We can see that you and all the reviewers seemed to have Samsung Moment retail boxes with 1.5.
