Bought it and am returning it - cube is pointless, waste of a button and memory. all kinds of bugs in here - try searching your contacts (it only works with first names! can't search a last name!). Typing, all "i"s are capitalized for some reason, even in the middle of a word. No easy toggle switches for wifi, GPS, 3g, ringer. Stupid side mounted sliding menu keeps getting opened by accident - they couldn't just leave it on the bottom? Non-customizable "quick list" of software I never use. non-oleophobic screen gets greasy really fast. earpiece is at very top of phone, so you have the corner of the phone jammed into your ear. Plus an already antiquated version of the OS. What a design disaster - Samsung - next time you design a phone, how about trying it out before releasing it? Christ.

CNET also got this phone, and in the video, she says that Samsung told her that it is up to T-Mobile to update the software. It sounds like Samsung is taking a hands off policy with this phone, which quite Frankly worries me. Also stated is that the cube interface is not customizable, making it even less useful.

http://reviews.cnet.com/smartphones/samsung-beh...

I'm still not exactly sure how they can justify a $229 price tag. The UI *looks* gimmicky (agreeing with Adriana). It's sporting the same qualcom arm-11 528 MHz processor everyone's growing to hate, not releasing with Android 2.0 and users are going to have to wait for Sammy to update the UI to support Android 2.0 when it rolls around (unless they already have). I think it'll have great multi-media capabilities, but as far as I'm concerned, Samsung is too late releasing all of these phones. They would have been serious contenders 6 months to a year ago, but with the Droid just being released, the iPhone 3gs rumored to have a $99.99 price tag, the HTC Dragon being released Nov-Dec... it's just going to fall by the wayside.

I'm a big Samsung fan and was trying to hold out for the Omnia 2 to be released, but I've been waiting for it since this summer. I had to move on. Made the switch to Android and it's been great. Samsung really needs to get its head in the game.
