No.. it's not. The HTC Passion is called the HTC Passion. Not the Google Passion. The Google phone is only going to have Google branding on it. The HTC Tattoo also had a picture of the Android on the back of it. The back of my Droid says Google on it, are you saying that the Droid is also the Google phone?

The Passion is rumored to hit Verizon around mid December. There honestly is just nothing backing up the claim that it's the Google phone. Nothing coincidental or weird about the Passion to make it seem even likely to be the Google phone.

Also, just to add it has the same little android guy on the battery cover as the dev. phones do.

Are you serious Google LOL. I'm sorry, no matter what Brand Name is on that device if it is the Google Branded Phone? It looks like a piece of crap that you've bought for you're nagging 5 year old at the flea market because it caught his eye.

If this is the first google branded device, lets make a great first impression. IMO, this is a fail
