The Motorola Droid will cost $469.99 at full retail and you will still get the 100$ rebate. So it would actually cost someone 369.00 without a contract.

    Hey,

Love the vids on YouTube. Looking at getting a Droid. I’m a huge texter, so are there any cool features about texting? Plus, my big question is, how long does the battery last on an average day?

    Thanks!

Sorry, that you are mis-informed … Motorola Milestone (the GSM version of Moto Droid) will be released in Canada in early 2010, via Telus – which launched its new HSDPA network last week. All in all, Motorola Milestone will be a very nice addition to Telus’ new line-up of GSM/HSDPA phones,

  11. Drew says:

Although it “can be had” at $149.99 with a 2 yr agreement; keep in mind that sites that utilize this 3rd party store will be forced to choose a 250 text messages plan at minimum (for $5 a month, minimum of six month term) in order to redeem the discounted price…

    So really the equation would be $149.99 + ($5 x 6 months) + shipping cost = $179.99+

enjoyed the videos on youtube was wondering where to find a non-trial version of swype because the droidmuff.in version ran out and if you would do a video on overclocking the motodroid saw a small write-up on hacking the root functions and overclocking the processor to a 1.1 gig and seems to run stable

  16. tiffibean13 says:

This phone is EPIC. I've had it since November and I LOVE it. I hope they release the Swype keyboard for it.
The battery lasts about a day and a half for me, but I am on my phone CONSTANTLY.
    The home dock is $30.
