Motorola Cliq (T-Mobile): questions and requests
I’m back with another questions and requests series, and this time it’s all about MotoBlur. Well, that’s actually just where I thought the focus would be. It turned out that I got dozens of duplicate questions about how this device stacks up against the Behold II. A LOT of you wanted some definitive answers on updates. As of right now, I think the hacking community is likely closer to a major update than Motorola is! These two are the only Q&A vids I’m doing on Cliq.

Hey John, can you tell me what would be a better choice, the Cliq or the My-Touch 3G???
Well, it depends on what you need. In terms of specs, the phones are very similar. Cliq has the hardware keyboard and Motoblur but myTouch is more mature in the hacking community and officially has access to the new Marlket and Google Maps with navigation.
I really like the Cliq, but myTouch has a smoother, sleeker form factor. I would probably choose the Cliq for myself but that's just how I happen to feel at the moment. It really comes down to personal taste. I don't think either one is dramatically better than the other.
I have had this phone for a few weeks now and love it. the update was very much needed and the battery rocks now, especially with the use of an advance task killer from the market place. I’ll say this, I am a huge geek and you can make it your own. I use twitter as a news feed so I always have new tweets to read and blur makes it a lot easier to access. Also the rss newsfeed widget that is pre-installed works well too. Besides the 1.5 firmware, my only other issue with the phone is that I wish blur allowed you to re-tweet. Also, I’ve also hooked it up to multiple sound systems and it sounds fine. In the end, I cant complain about it, got it from letstalk.com for $79. To be fair though, I am coming from a previous phone of a moto Q9 running windows mobile….. so any droid phone I would love.

will the cliq get the 2.0 software???
okay so on the regular behold you could tap and save images from the internet but on the cliq can you do the same thing ive been looking and looking
Motorola just confirmed that they will release a 2.0 update. The update comes with faster web browsing and more camera features. Not sure when they will release it but google maps navigation will be able to work on the cliq.
