OK, so it’s not actually the Nexus One booting below but a Droid running the 2.1 (Flan) ROM from Nexus, which was recently leaked by Sholes.info, who had this to say about the process:
Today using SirPsychoS’s recovery image humancyborg managed to install Android 2.1 on his Verizon Droid.
The system.img can be downloaded by clicking here. Do NOT try to install this using flash_image. You have been warned. We are not responsible if you brick your device.
This image was generated using mkyaffs2img; this does not preserve file system permissions. This can cause problems and you should wait until a proper image has been created. A guide will follow once a proper image has been created with the correct file system permissions.

I don’t know about all of you, but I think I would wait bit before jumping on any of this…that is, if I owned a Droid.
