Looking for a weekly nutshell of Android news so you don’t have to scour multiple blogs every day? The Saturday Wrap is for you.

Nexus One

I would be remiss if I didn’t address the week’s Nexus One leaks in the first section of this Wrap, but I’m not going to offer up the standard list of links here. If you want them they can be found in my weekly summary of Android events over at PhoneDog, What up, Droid? All of the leaked info was very highly publicized and I doubt that anyone reading this has missed much of it.

ICD Ultra

If you saw Jimmy Fallon last night, you know that Joshua Topolsky from Engadget was rockin’ the now-rooted Nook and a new Android tablet. If you didn’t see it, click here. Since it aired, SlashGear has dropped the official announcement and specs (cont.):

This sleek looking 7″ tablet features 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and packs a Tegra T20 chip enabling full screen 1080p HD video that can be sent to your TV. Slash Gear reports that ICD will be offering both capacitive and resistive versions, running at 800 x 480 or 1024 x 600.

Updates and Otherwise

It looks like Canadian Rogers customers with a Dream or Magic at some point.

I see in your future another Wrap segment…with bad title

I took a look at HTC’s HD 2 this week with the hopes of getting an idea of what we can expect from the next generation of Sense-enabled Androids. You think I’m on point or totally missing it?

I also tried to anticipate where Google is heading in terms of developing their own complete ecosystem.

Odds and Ends

Those are what I consider to be the biggest stories of the week, folks, and I’m beat. I’m looking forward to a holiday weekend with the wife and I hope you all will be cozy and surrounded by loved ones. If this coming week isn’t particularly special for you, I hope you get a chance to see Avatar or do something else that’s cool. If you see the flick, don’t tell me about it, kay?

this is an amazing wrap up, I'm. sure there's many more from android to come from, especially Google's end of things.. noah said apple does it big and that's why people like it. well google in short time has almost superceeded if not already what apple has accomplished. the android market has grown vastly in such short time and continues to grow, in the app perspective and android market lineup. looking forward to more things like this to keep, my mind spinning. thanks for the time spent on this article. sincerely -jacob
