Return of the Google Phone Nexus 1:

That’s right, the phone that Google recently gave to employees is apparently called the Nexus 1. No word on where the image above came from, but BGR seems to think it’s evidence enough of the moniker. While I haven’t seen any photos or videos just yet, my bet is that they’re coming soon.
If you haven’t read the story yet, it is thought that Google will be selling the device themselves, unlocked, capable of running on various networks (EDIT: possibly no 3G on AT&T, though). Google isn’t likely to offer any sort of financing but the word is that carriers will subsidize and finance the phone after Google’s initial release. (Man, I hope so.) Insiders say we can expect a year of major shifts in the cell phone industry, largely due to Nexus 1.

Video Reviews:
I put together collections of my video reviews featuring HTC’s Eris and Samsung’s Behold. If you’re researching Androids for a holiday gift or just for yourself, take a few minutes to check them out. Oh, and the second code for the myTouch 3G giveaway is: 237456
Updates:
Those of you who already own an Eris will be happy to know (if you didn’t already) that an update of bug fixes is currently rolling out. Verizon fans running Droid are on the lookout as well, as their handset – now rooted – is receiving 2.0.1. While I’m on updates, Sprint users should read this.
Leaks of the Week
For those of you who missed the warm-up to yesterday’s and today’s Google Phone news, here’s where the truly juicy began to come out. And while I’m posting on unreleased phones, check out two new Sammys: Galaxy and the Saturn.
I also have a couple of links regarding the destinations of Backflip and the X10. Wait… the X10.
This is where I had intended to post a video of Motorola’s Opus, but it has been removed by the OP.
Acer News:
It was a pretty big week for the Acer Liquid, which we saw uboxed and rooted (it’s not often that we get those two bits in a single week). We also heard that the phone may be coming to AT&T. Whatever the case, Acer has a big year planned.
Those are the bigger stories of the week as I see them, folks, but check out the spare parts:
