New team members
Hello, hello, fellow Android enthusiasts! I trust you all had a great holiday week, whether you celebrate Christmas or not. We’ve got several little treats here at DroidDog in the form of new site features like the author bios and images you’ll see on individual post pages. Speaking of contributors, I’m glad to welcome Carlos Graves and Andrew Steffy aboard.
Carlos has a video review of SuperD ROM posted as well as a look at a back up utility called SwitchROM. Andrew has written two articles thus far: one on Android app store fragmentation, and the other on a Nexus One spec leak. Both have received a positive response and I’m excited to see what they have in store for the new year. I think this little blog is going places!

Nexus One
The Google Phone news seems to have died down a bit lately but it’s really just the calm before the storm. We’re still seeing the occasional video and photo leak but it looks like January 5th might be N-Day. There’s a good chance that a very limited number of people will get their lucky hands on one so early.
Cliq
The recently rooted Motorola Cliq has become my daily use phone once again, so I finally got around to a couple of question and request videos. I should get a full written review posted to PhoneDog before too long.
Eclair
Android Spin is reporting that they have the inside scoop on some T-Mo updates and that 2.0 and 2.0.1 are in the hands of T-Mobile, ready for OTA beaming. I haven’t read confirmation anywhere just yet but this puts a nice spin on DroidDog’s next giveaway: 01/01/10.
I’m going to have to cut it a bit short this week here, folks. It’s been a slow one for Android news and I’ve got some very important post-holiday shopping to do (not to mention some very un-Christmassy chores). Here’s a chunk of what’s left:
LG Prada 3 to Sprint with Android?
Opus One
X10 product demos
