Yesterday in Singapore, ZiiLABS announced their new 3.5/4G smart and media phone platform for Android and Plaszma. Focused on media, Trinity enables accelerated OpenGL ES 3D graphics and 1080p HD video. (They actually used the term, “Super High Definition Video.”)

Zii’s optimized version of Android brings the benfits of Creative’s StemCell Computing architecture to the OS we know and love for an enhanced media experience. Plaszma based devices will see similar benefits and support for advanced codecs. (cont.)
