i thought the nexus one was rooted on arrival and u have to accept voiding warranty terms to unlock boot loader? could be wrong as i don't have one so just asking
I think you might be getting the terms unlocked and rooted mixed up. Ordering the Nexus One unlocked just means that it isn't setup to work with just one specific carrier. Rooting is a hack to give the user administrator access to the software.
