John, it looks like you missed one important feature which almost makes the dock worth the $55. At about 2:32 in the video you’ll notice the documentation mention “Pairing” which allows you to transmit music via Bluetooth to the dock. It means you can't connect the dock to your computer and transfer data. You can still stream Pandora through your connected speakers.

So when you say that it cannot transmit data, does that mean that I couldn't set it in the dock and have it play music from Pandora (or Slacker etc.) through the connected speakers?
