I think I can, I think I can…

I think I’ve gotten through the honeymoon period and the time of yearning. I think I can make it for a little while longer without a nexus one. I’m not saying I don’t like it, but I think I can stop trying to sell the neighbor’s dog and other random items around the house in order to raise the funds for the nexus one.

After seeing numerous reviews, tweets, articles, videos and all around buzz about this phone I think my patience may actually pay off in the end. Google has now had time to work through their customer service issues and iron out any kinks the nexus may have, so when it is time for me to buy, everything should be smooth. Now don’t get me wrong, if I can win one from one of the thousands of giveaways going on (I’m signed up for all of them. LOL!), I will gladly take it. Until then, I’ll have to live vicariously through those lucky souls that were able to buy one on launch day and I wish them the best with their “superphone”. Are you still waiting on a Nexus one? Tell us about it in the comment section. Take care!

where are they contests?

I ordered mine the second day it was out. I don't have a ton of money to spend either but I have known for a while now that I wanted to upgrade to a smartphone some day, especially once the touchscreens came out. Then when Android came out, I knew it would have to be an Android phone for me. Even though I wasn't that interested in the G1, I knew there would eventually be a phone I really wanted so I started saving up for it. The N1 has everything I wanted in a phone so now my wait is over. Now that I have it, I can start saving for my next phone over the next two or three years. I can only imagine how much power and capabilities they will have by then.

I'm one of those poor saps without a nexus one *sigh* I'm still hoping and praying that google comes out with a version that has the hardware to run on at&t's 3G....or that one of the android phones coming to at&t will be a nexus one equivalent. although there's the strong possibility that I might just cave and get one anyway even though i won't be able to use 3g

screw that - sell the neighbours dog

I really want the Nexus One but I can't afford to purchase one so I sign up for all the contests as well, my twitter account will never be the same again. I will get a nexus but it might be Nexus Two with physical keyboard :-)

Its the waiting and wanting thats killing me, but being a original G1 owner I'm still on contract, plus with the appearance of the N1 in the beginning of the year only makes me wanna wait out longer knowing that by the end of this year something more awesome is sure to be out. (btw i joined all the giveaways too)

Google has to get the 3G and customer problems fixed this week if they want cell phone customers to take them seriously.

Got mine last week, and it's still working great! Super quick and snappy. If my 3G connection gets better, then that's a bonus too!Besides that though...what kinks are you talking about?

Mines is shipped and expected to arrive before 3pm tomorrow (I just orderd it at 7pm today). I'm excited.
