Apple has a patent on multi-touch in the US so they couldn't put it on

Lets see the Nexus One Vs. Droid. The Screen on the Nexus looks bigger, but the specs say its the same?

here's a rom that has a multi touch activated....it's kinda sloppy but it works:-)<object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/b-zzIbY8cbc&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/b-zzIbY8cbc&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>

when did you place your order? I did mine about 8pm, 01/06/10. how long did it take for you to get shipment info? and im assuming you used the overnight right ?

so juiced just tracked my order, here tomorrow .android makes me happy, i will film a youtube video of me destroying my iphone with my android and post for the world to see :)

I'd love to see that. You need to reply back to this comment so that I can see it, or link it or something.

Not a bad hands on. I'm actually surprised (and pleased) that Noah didn't mention the iPhone. Given his his strong... "like" for the iPhone, I know it must have been hard for him not to mention it at least once.

it does support multi touch...it's just something that google left for hackers to activate, that way they tip toe around apple's patents :-) hell, I have a rooted g1 and it supports multi-touch....in a very sloppy fashion, mind you, cuz of its antiquated hardware but it does none the less.

I never thought it was a big deal until I read that multi-touch helps out with the onscreen keyboard. Is the "Better Keyboard" app multi-touch enabled?

No Multi-touch? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. If HTC has the capability to include this feature, why doesn't it? It seems to be something that users want.
