Who here likes free apps? OK, good, me too. A company by the name of Distimo preformed a study recently regrading the most popular mobile devices, and what their market has to offer. A big part of the study centered around the ratio of free to paid apps. Can you guess who came up on top? That’s right, Android. The numbers for Android are 57% free and 43% paid, not bad. Especially considering that second place is Palm with 32% free and 68% paid. The companies study also revealed the number of new Android apps every month, roughly 3,005. As Android continues to grow we should expect to see these numbers grow by the time the year is over. Anyone wanna take a guess on just what those numbers will be?
