TED attendees get free Nexus Ones

TEDGoogle must be under the impression that some of the brightest minds in the world want to get their hands on their latest handset, the Nexus One. And, just to make sure that everyone is on the same boat with that thought process, they’ve gone ahead and provided free handsets to the attendees of TED over the last few days. The Nexus One is definitely worthy of existing in the pocket of, say, Bill Gates, but we’re wondering just what happened to some of those phones after they were passed out. Is Mr. Gates rocking Android now? Considering the power of the N1, we wouldn’t put it past him. Oh, and if you’re thinking you want to go to TED next year and get a free phone, it’ll cost you around $6,000. Worth it? Probably, considering the event itself.
