I want to install this theme, do I have to root it? Is it written a walk through for this stuff? Im really newbish.. Havent done anything with my N1, downloaded the file to my computer, put it over to my SD card and booted into bootloader - > recovery -> shows the little green dude with a ! next to him. What now?Help!:)Christian
I really enjoy Droid Dog for its blog posts and videos, but everything would be a lot easier to use and appreciate if videos or audio segments included show notes listing what's in it and links if you wanted to blow our minds.
You have to flash the overclocked kernel again.
hey Carlos .. i am new to android os .. i am actually using nexus one (rooted) with cynogenmod 5.0.4.1 and it's also overclocked to 1.13ghz... yesterday..i actually flash this theme and it's not giving me any problems but i think my overclocking to 1.13ghz is gone after flashing this theme... but i still see the little android in the middle when i am booting the phone .. i tried to refresh and reinstall the setcpu but still giving me 998MHz instead of 1.13ghz ... is there anything you can help me with or i have to do the overclocking method all over again ?
does installing themes require the nexus one to be rooted?

The difference in the lockscreen is that the themed tabs look like they have two faces (one on top, the other on bottom) giving it a 3D look because of the lighter gradient on the top face of the tab. They are also opaque.The normal Nexus One Lock tabs look flat and only have a vertical gradient with light fringes on the top and bottom. (slightly transparent)
