Hi, thanks for the overview!I installed mine a few days ago. I checked the SD app storage, and I have the option, but it's grayed out.
i installed 5.0.5.3 and i no longer have market or google apps...how do i fix this? I remember reading about it a few days ago but cant find the post... thanks for any help
Hey Carlos! Two questions;Apps2SD, where do I activate this? Atm its just dark text.. andIm a norwegian user, and atm I can only download free apps from the marked. Do you (or any one else) know how I can get access to the whole marked?
hey carlos, what time and weather widget are you using on your home page?i like the way they look, nice and simple.
You don't need to update anything except for the ROM, and when going from Cyanogen ROM to Cyanogen ROM, there is no wipe required :)
You won't get the OTA, no, you will have to wait until Cyanogen (or any other developer) gets their hands on it and incorporates it into their ROM.
hi, i just have some quick questions. i have the previous version of cyanogen rom, and when i go to the website i see an update to the radio(?) and google addons(?). do i need to upgrade these as well? and do i need to wipe my phone if i do? thanks!
i've downloaded cyanogen 5.0.5.3 and eversince i get alerted twice when I get new text messages. I get the new style icon and the older style envelope icon when I get messages and it beeps twice for each one and it is only one message. any reason why this would happen?
Great vid Carlos -- I'm new to Android, so I haven't ever tried a custom mod. My question is, if I install this Cyanogen mod on a Nexus One, what happens when an android OS update is released? Will I still get the update right away OTA?Thanks, and keep up the great work.
Well I'm not sure what the battery life is like with just the kernel (ie, no other applications helping the battery life), but with all my battery saving applications that I use, I get easily a good 9-10 hours out of it.
Saw the vid... got excited... downloaded 5.0.5.3 for #droid from @koush... NO APPS2SD!!! Dammit Jim!
Yes Carlos, this review was much better than the last one!Thank you for this good test - I got a lot of hints for this mod now, because i am using it!Thanks again for your now really good review.Greetings from Austria
Why does DroidDog still have Carlos Graves posting android videos. he post videos, you ask him a question and hes no where to be found or offers not help at all. I would really like for people to stand behind their work like the other editor does, John.
I'm not entirely sure what you're talking about... I am fully available and answering questions on DroidDog.com and on my Twitter page.
Anyone notice the upside-down orientation option is labeled 360? That's a full turn back to starting point :P
hello!! how you can turn off the battery percentage that is displayed in the battery icon (status bar)??? i don't know how . thanks!!!
Carlos, what kind of improvement in battery life have you noticed, if any, from the undervolted kernel?
Well first you have to root your phone. You can root by following this very easy-to-follow guide by John -http://www.droiddog.com/android-blog/2010/02/vi...
with Apps2SD aren't you really saving available ROM space vs. Memory/RAM? the Cyan Apps2SD implementation is really nice and i like that you can enable/disable the feature it shows you available space by partition and device.
Can the new cm 5.0.6 version be used the rooted g1. Im currently using cm 4.2.15 now...plz help
