Nexus One with Sense for Verizon || UPDATED

UPDATE: Looks like the Sense reference was a typo, folks. Sense is, apparently, off the menu.

Android Central has leaked a snap of Verizon’s internal system that indicates the Nexus One for VZW will be sold exclusively through Google’s online store (google.com/phone). Not only that, but the device will clearly run HTC’s Sense UI. Will Verizon be the home for Android lovers in 2010?

One can only hope that this is not true. Sense UI seems like a downgrade compared to vanilla Android in my opinion. It would be nice if carriers gave people an option of vanilla or bolt on.

Just because sense is on a phone, doesnt make it mandatory. I can use Vanilla Android on my Hero, and dont HAVE to use Sense. but I personally, love it.

  6. Rustafarii says:

I would actually prefer vanilla… sense would make me feel like I just have a hero with a snapdragon and a prettier screen. I love the look of vanilla with the cyanogen ROM.

I'm sooooo glad. I'm not a big fan of sense and I'm buying a Nexus One once it's on Verizon. Even if it did have it I would probably change the UI anyway…
