UPDATE: Looks like the Sense reference was a typo, folks. Sense is, apparently, off the menu.
Android Central has leaked a snap of Verizon’s internal system that indicates the Nexus One for VZW will be sold exclusively through Google’s online store (google.com/phone). Not only that, but the device will clearly run HTC’s Sense UI. Will Verizon be the home for Android lovers in 2010?

I'm sooooo glad. I'm not a big fan of sense and I'm buying a Nexus One once it's on Verizon. Even if it did have it I would probably change the UI anyway...
I would actually prefer vanilla... sense would make me feel like I just have a hero with a snapdragon and a prettier screen. I love the look of vanilla with the cyanogen ROM.
Just because sense is on a phone, doesnt make it mandatory. I can use Vanilla Android on my Hero, and dont HAVE to use Sense. but I personally, love it.

One can only hope that this is not true. Sense UI seems like a downgrade compared to vanilla Android in my opinion. It would be nice if carriers gave people an option of vanilla or bolt on.
