HTC Desire unlocked and in stock

desire Those of you who are itching to get your hands on Desire ASAP are in luck: the unlocked version of the phone has hit the virtual shelves and is good to go in the States, for those with the cash to spare. Clove and eXpansys are a couple of the shops selling the device, for £330 ($507) and £439.99 ($674), respectively. If you are a Sense fan and the owner of an N1, you can come pretty close to experiencing Desire right now. But if you want those hardware buttons and optical control, maybe it’s time for an ebay swap up.

With a 3.7″ AMOLED display, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and a 5MP cam, Desire blows thew last generation of Androids away. The question is, how will it measure up agains the EVO 4G and Incredible?

HI man, I'm go to orlando fron Venezuela oct 07, and I want to know where I can find a unlocked HTC Desire there, you can tell me ???, I try in many ways to find a store, but always find virtual stores.

Looks like the specs are almost identical to the #Incredible. Didn't see anything about the 8GB internal that exists on the Incredible tho. That's damn near enough for me to jump to this one from my lovely #Droid

"If you got a nexus its pretty much the same device.. just with hardware buttons and sense." Lets hope not. Lets hope this phone actually works!

Anybody knows if this version will works on the Rogers 3G network?Would I get 3G or just Edge speeds? Thanks!

Its only GSM for right now.. Which means AT&T and T-Mobile can use these phones. But you wont get US 3G bands... If you got a nexus its pretty much the same device.. just with hardware buttons and sense. which u can already run if you got a rooted N1.. but if you just phone crazy and got money to blow be my guest

dog fight!!! Personally, I don't feel the need for a 8MP camera in my phone, but let's just see what the beta testers are gonna say about all these cool phones coming out.

Hey does anyone know who is supplying the touchscreen tech for the HTC Desire? Just curious because I wouldn't want to get a phone that suffers from the same touch screen issues that the N1 seems to have.

Does anyone know if the 3G WILL WORK IN THE US???

Just double checking - this isn't CMDA tho right? It's only T-Mobile usable in the states?

i'd certainly opt for this device if it had US 3G bands! i prefer buttons vs. virtual buttons.

Seems that the incredible and the desire are the same phone except for the 8mp camera and wireless n. Evo 4G is a different beast. Me, i'm getting a desire end of April (fingers crossed they are still in stock). 3.7" is the sweet spot in screen size for me. Anything bigger is a bit too big (after playing with the cool HD2).
