I posted earlier today about a cooked ROM for hacked Moments that was rocking 2.1. I still can’t fully endorse it because I don’t have a Moment on hand, but here’s a video of a phone that was hacked using the process followed in that same thread. As always, embarking on this journey is done at your own risk, but I would like to hear some feedback from any readers who are willing to take the plunge.
i don't do ANY real work at SDX i just like to test stuff. credit for everything i was able to do goes to ALL the fine developers at SDX. I just threw it together and made a video to show off their work.
Ok. I'm having some issue achieving root (I don't really understand the adb thing, honestly) but what advantages does it offer? And what does Calkulin's ROM give over Joey's and vice versa? I've never rooted before so all these guy's different cooked ROMs are pretty foreign to me.

All of this can now be installed using Calkulin's rom. All the instructions are at sdx.

i flashed the rom from 123321. i added the live wallpapers, helixlauncher, the new gallery, and a few other things. Thats my video.

I got the legit 2.1 that was leaked from SDX. I asked the guys on there about it and people said he was running some thing, let me see if I can quote it...It's down right now but they basically just laughed at me and made it sound like he tweaked it himself.
Its the same one that 123321 posted, the guys at sdx just figured out how to get Live Wallpapers, 3D Gallery, N1 Launcher (Five Screens, 3D App Drawer, etc) and some other tweaks. This person is using HelixLauncher though, which is free from the Market.
It is the same one. The user just added the livewallpapers , launcher2 and the 3d app drawer. I got that and the new gallery and news/weather wigdet for 2.1. Find SDX developers website. Its all there and more. I can say its worth it.
This isn't from the leaked 2.1 123321 posted. I flashed that last night and while it IS 2.1, it doesn't NOT contain live wallpapers or the cool rotating app rolodex thing. It also doesn't have 5 screens. I don't know what that guy flashed, but it's not the same leaked rom 123321 put up.
