Looking for a weekly nutshell of Android news? The Saturday Wrap is for you.

Do you ever have one of those weeks where it feels like the news just doesn’t stop coming? Welcome to our week. Now keep in mind that this isn’t a bad thing, it just means you have to pay extra attention. This week we saw everything from the upcoming myTouch Slide’s Espresso ROM, to an absolutely ridiculous $50,000 phone that looks eerily steam-punk. What’s the best thing to come out of the previous week? Let’s get right into it.

HTC Incredible Coverage

HTC and Verizon finally released the new Sense equipped Incredible. Just in case you were wondering if this phone is worth it… it is. Especially if you can get one for free (more on that later). Anyone and everyone who had the chance posted an Incredible review Monday, and DroidDog was right in front of the pack. The very first post from our newest editor Breon Nagy was an insightful in-depth review that is sure to sway your opinion. We also saw plenty of coverage from PhoneDog, a TV out demo (hubba hubba), some accessories finding their way into the wild, and the demo video from VZW themselves up above.

Upcoming and Newly Available Devices

Spring is in the air and that means it’s time for another round of upcoming phone release info. At least one device, the Archos 7, went on pre-sale this week. You can hop on over to Amazon where you can hold your place in the virtual waiting line for the Archos 7 to the tune of $199. If you were waiting for something a little more business than the Archos 7, the Compaq Airlife got specd’ out for what will hopefully be an imminent release. Telstra users will rejoice over the news that they will be able to purchase the SE X10 (AT&T users can get in on this too) and the HTC Desire. All Android users will rejoice over some very mysterious leaked pictures of two unidentified Motorola devices. If you think  you will need directions to check these bad boys out (if they ever see the light of day), T-Mobile and Garmin have you covered with their freshly announced Garminfone. The best device leaks of the past week, would have to have been all those product slides of upcoming Dell devices. Smoke, Flash, and Aero are all cool names, but the Thunder is what has me listening. 4.1″ OLED, Flash 10.1, and an 8MP camera? Sign me up!

Reviews, Apps, and Videos

What would a week be without some app reviews and hands-on videos? John got a chance to check out the VERY sexy HTC Legend, thanks to out friends from eXpansys, and there isn’t really anything bad to be said. We were also hooked up with an Acer Liquid that Carlos will be sure to give a through review of. If you have been in search of some music alternatives, Breon passed on the word that Rhapsody for Android will be entering a new BETA, something I know I’ll be checking out. I did a quick review for Font Size (for root users), that addresses some of the issues the visually impaired may face when trying on Android for size. My favorite video of the week has to have been the Android running on an iPhone 2G alpha. Oh the possibilities.
