Finally, after all the super secret. FBI, Area 52, missing 10 minutes of the Incredible tape where Bibfoot and The Lockness Monster are testing HTCs alien phone the got next door, we have a release date. After months of tech shows where "Verizon will announce the lauch of the iphone destroyer, the Nexus Ones brother and the son of the Droid Eris".After hearing how the Desire and Legend weren't going to be anywhere close to Verison. And the HD2, well, what can I say (oh yeah, Windows Mobile). After watching the same leaked video of the device over and over again. IT..........IS..........HERE!!!!!!!!!

what a beautiful looking thing!

Motorola Droid vs HTC Droid Incredible?

This is what i've been waiting for. I have been waiting for the chance ( & the right device) to give up my Black berry Curve 8330. I am going to enjoy customizing this this one and all the other features it offers. Now its just the waiting for the next couple of weeks that gonna get to me.

I see on Verizon's page that it also comes with a black back. I was worried when I saw that red back in all of the old and recent photos.

I believe the red is internal, and the cover is black. Don't forget, they make really cool skins for phones these days so you never have to look at the actual cover.

I think, contrary to what has been reported, the 8GB "internal memory" is in the form of an included microSD. In the lauch packet instructions, in the instructions for installing memory/battery, is the label "Installing a MicroSD (8GB pre-installed)." Pg. 25 of 30.

I don't like the design of the phone when compared to the HTC HD2, but the hardware specs tagged along with Android 2.1 are a DO WANT.

@JeffreyIf you're going to wait until September, why not just wait to see what the HSPA+ device is going to be for T-Mobile? It probably won't be out of the question to assume it will at the very least be on par with the Incredible, and I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was also a HTC Android device.
