Envision Desire with a QWERTY

Well, you won’t have to work too hard on imagining such a device, because Tweakers.net has created a mock-up (below) mashing the silver desire together with the hardware keyboard of a Touch Pro 2.

As far removed as this particular rendition may be from the appearance of an actual release, there is reason to believe that a similar phone is on the horizon – possibly headed for T-Mobile. The phone, which has a user agent profile (second image below) similar to that of the HTC Desire (save the QWERTY), is being linked to a purported leak from internal HTC electronic documents that reveal the new code names, LED, Glacier, and Vision.

Vision, the device in question here, is listed as being headed for “TMO.” No further information is available at this time.

Could this be related to the Sidekick Twist? Hmmmm?

  2. 1 question how big is the screen going to be. That's my only deciding factor these days.

I just want a T-Mobile HTC phone without a physical keyboard, and that is on par with EVO or INCREDIBLE. But this sounds kind of nice.
