HTC Droid Incredible: your questions and requests
I just finished up a month with HTC’s Droid Incredible as my primary device and it’s time for another set of Questions and Requests videos! I always enjoy reading and answering your messages for these, and I wish I could have taken a few more for this stunning Verizon beast. A recent move (a pretty big one) cut my work time short for a couple of weeks, so I’m leaving this post with two videos (the second will be added very soon).
Stay tuned for my full written review of the device, which I was not exactly happy about parting with.

to get the stock android screen go to settings and look for “programs” in there look for a program called “HTC Sense” in it it will give u a list of options one will be “default launcher” under that will be a button that says “clear default” click it and right under that will be another button it will say “force stop” or “force close” press it and a screen will show up asking if u want to use the “HTC Sense” or “Launcher”(stock android). press launcher and you will have the android stock screen.
I didn't try it that way, but on other Sense devices, installing a home replacement will cause the launcher to show up when you hit the home button. Can you confirm that you've tried your method on an Incredible and that it worked?
When you put the phone on your head and the pets I nearly chocked on breakfast. So funny!
You can turn off Sense by going to settings>applications>manage applications>(filter by running)choose htc sense> clear defaults and force stop.
This will give you the stock 3d launcher and stock android.
To turn sense back on since you cannot use the HTC widgets without sense, go back to applications>home> clear defaults. Then press the home button and choose HTC Sense.
Hey John, any idea on when the HTC Incredible's are going to be given away on PhoneDog? I have tried to contact @PhoneDog_Noah but to no avail.

i put the skype app on my incredible…it opens EVERY time i make or receive a call…i need to kill it repeatedly. i've already gone into skyp settings and turned all “auto on” functions off…any ideas???Type your comment here.

My alarm never goes off.. i reset it everynight, make sure my volume is up, and make sure it is for the correct time and it still will not go off. any suggestions ?
how do you change the time of display for pix received via mms? mine says it is limited to 5 seconds!
on the home screen my phones huge numbers background changed from yellow to white..dont know how..how do i change it back..also why do i have to always turn the power button on…after a few mins
OUt of NOWHERE I have lost all of my text messages. Didn’t turn the phone off, press a wrong key or anything out of the ordinary. Is there any way to get them back? Have the Incredible.
at the top of the droid, to the left of the “verizon” logo there appears to be two additional indicator lights they are difficult to see under the tint…are these two spots lights? what are they used for? One person told me its possibly a camera but as far as i know there isnt an additional front camera on this phone…cant really find anything online or in the manual…Info would be appreciated. thank you
