Kindle app coming to Android

kindleYesterday, Amazon announced that Android will join the list of platforms supported by their massively popular Kindle application this Summer. The program will give users access to over half a million titles, which start at $9.99. The app itself is free and allows for syncing your (reading) bookmarks across all Kindle devices, including iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Mac, PC, BlackBerry, and of course the actual Kindle.

According to the press release, “Kindle is the most wished for, most gifted and #1 bestselling product on” So while the iPad may soon dominate the e-reader market, it looks like Kindle love isn’t really about to end.
