Samsung Galaxy S promo spot
It doesn’t have audio but the video below, posted to YouTube on May 10th, demonstrates – via CG simulation – the not-too-techy primary selling points of Samsung’s powerhouse Android. HD video recording and playback on HDTV via DLNA, a taste of Sammy’s new custom UI, and Swype are included. Am I not seeing the image correctly or is the phone actually embedded in the dash of that dude’s car? I guess he’s probably sitting in a studio’s folding chair anyway.
Word is that this phone will be hitting all four major US carriers in varied flavors, but no one knows any specific dates or price points. Rather, those who know aren’t talking just yet. Check out Dustin’s post on T-Mobile’s version of the phone, currently suspected to be the “secret” Project Emerald.

There is another set of 4 promo videos up on Youtube (If you search for 'Samsung Galaxy S' and sort by upload date, they will be on the first page) that are a little longer. They don't reveal much else, other than showing the docking accessory a little closer. I've also been wondering about that deal Samsung made with Yahoo, and it appears as though this phone will have some Google services - like Maps, Navigation, Speech-to-Text, Goggles - and some by Yahoo; the calendar app is shown with a Yahoo logo.
