If you followed my tweets this afternoon, or read my recap of the DROID× press conference, you probably saw the nugget about ‘early upgrades for DROID× buyers’.  Well, I have a treat for you.  Verizon is extending this offer to be valid for ANY 3G smartphone.  So if you’ve been waiting for your contract to end, so you can get an Incredible, now’s the time to pounce.  I don’t have full terms and conditions, but a little birdie whispered this in my ear…

All customers, who’s contract is up this year (2010), can upgrade to ANY 3G Smartphone at two-year pricing (with 2 year contract renewal).

EDIT:  One thing to note here…the wording of the sentence above somewhat indicates that this might be for folks with feature phones, who want to upgrade to a smartphone.  Again, I don’t have all of the details, but it’s just my intuition.  I could be wrong.  Also, this started yesterday.
