HTC Desire to hit US late Summer 2010
Before you go and get too excited, no, it’s not coming to any of the major 4 in the US. Is that a bad thing? Yes. Terrible thing? … not really. Even the smaller carriers in the US need Android love too. Right after@HTC tweeted out loud that the Desire will be hitting regional carriers in August, a public relations rep for HTC made the rounds and let everyone know that it will be the same European version we have all come to know and love; Sense 2.1 and a 1GHZ processor. So who exactly are these regional carriers? According to Cellular South’s Facebook page, they are at least one of them. The release is going to be a part of their Summer Of Android promotion where they plan on going all out. Hey, sounds good to me. Be sure to keep checking back for pricing information and anything else we can scrounge up.
