Motorola i1 available from Boost on June 20th

It looks like Boost Mobile has beat Sprint to the punch in announcing availability of the first Android iDEN device, the ruggedized Motorola i1. A price has not been officially announced by Boost, though BestBuy’s $350 tag was leaked last month. The i1 is not exactly a superphone, but with no contract, nation-wide Boost walkie-talkie and a 5MP cam with video, this does indeed appear to be the coolest iDEN phone on the block. Plus, it runs Android.

I think this is good for the Prepaid community, plus it puts Android™ where it wants to be, in the hands of the masses. I'm sure the folks on the boost network will appreciate this phone!

Eh, something about Boost Mobile doesn't exactly scream "Android!" to me...
