Motorola Milestone XT720 is an imaging powerhouse

mail-2Motorola takes another stab at the Milestone. The device is currently Europe bound, but is compatible with T-Mobile US’ 3G, so if you’re one of those folks – like myself – that wished for a flavor of Moto’s DROID without that horrid hardware QWERTY, there is hope. And while the world’s first Android with a Xenon flash (8MP with HD video capture) looks great on paper, Engadget had a very meh experience with the device; citing not the 550 720 MHz processor as a source of disappointment, but the tacky screen surface and overall ergonomic snafus. Maybe the hip wasn’t such a great idea. Check out two of their hands-on videos here, and Moto’s promo video below, followed by the press release.
