Toshiba’s Android netbook with Tegra

The AC100-114 is a 10.1″ netbook that packs 512MB of RAM and a 16GB Solid State Drive, running Android 2.1. Sounds great, right? But why launch an Android netbook now, long after Google publicly stated that Android is not well-suited for such applications and when Google’s Chrome is just around the corner? I don’t expect those little detractors to hurt interest too much – not with a 1080p Tegra GPU on board.
