Cool app: PanoPlanet Live Wallpaper
Be careful with this one! PanoPlanet is one of those seemingly simple pieces of software that has the ability to suck you in, leaving you mindlessly swiping your finger back and forth across the screen for long chunks of time, lost in the pretty visuals before you. Seriously. And that’s what makes it so great. Make a tunnel, make a planet. Make yourself dizzy while navigating your home screens. It’s all fun.
The developer, Jfreu, suggests the vast collection of equirectangular panoramas found on Flickr, (HDR images make exceptional tiny planets) but offers up three quality image samples with install. Check it out:
PanoPlanet is €1.53 (just under $2.00). Scan the image below to download.

how do i scann it to download…?
Awesome. I like the short song that plays at the end of your videos.
i cant find it in the market place. ive used the barcode and even tried doing a search on the app store but it always comes up that ther are no maches. This has happen a lot since ive had my vibrant. It is a problem with the vibrant.
uugh i cant use it with galaxy spica …
I have these problems with the Vibrant too. But really, it happens to me with pretty much every new Android that comes out. I've heard that Google simply has to “flip a switch” (figuratively) for a given device to have access to the Market. I think it's a bit more complicated than that, and this app is paid for in Euros, which might be another issue.
You need an app called Barcode Scanner. Open it, and use your camera to see the code. It will beep and ask what you want to do. Select, “open in browser,” and it will take you to the app's Market entry.
The edit around :40 is because it took me way too many tries to say “equirectangular panorama.” It was funny at first, an then, exhausting.
This looks amazing. I'd love to see how it works with a self created image.

How do you get the equirectangular images? When I followed the link and tried to save one saved as a teeny tiny .gif file.
Nevermind.. I got some. The others are jpg… makes more sense. Not sure why the first one I tried happened to be a gif file. Oh well. AWESOME LP.
