Check out this video by an owner of the new white flavor of HTCs EVO. You can see that a strip of white remains even when the battery cover is off, so this design is more just a simple snap-on accessory. Still sporting the red internals and kickstand backdrop, the white really makes the red bits pop in contrast.

It seems like I have heard more negative feedback on this color scheme than positive, but maybe that’s just the vocal minority dominating comment threads. Personally, based on what I’m seeing in this video, I’m really digging the new shell.
