Incredible update to bring 720p video and hotspot support
Just because Verizon has two killer Motorola DROIDs on the way (X and 2) is no reason to discount HTC’s Incredible, which has been selling like hotcakes to the point that patient customers have received $25 gift cards as a way of thanking them for not canceling their as yet unfulfilled orders. The Sense packing device is about to get a bump that will deliver powerful new features.
It looks as though an OTA update bound for Incredibles will be carrying a much larger payload than the ground fix and security patches originally anticipated. Droid-Life, who have reliable access to Verizon phones before the public, has posted the images blow, depicting a hotspot app and a 720p option in the camera settings. I don’t see any reason to doubt this leak. Also check out a video that shows the new boot animation.
