Original DROID, Devour headed for pasture
With yesterday’s launch of the DROID X and the impending drop of DROID 2, we knew it was bound to happen before long, but now we have some pretty solid evidence that the original DROID will be discontinued shortly. A leaker over at DroidForums posted a snap of Verizon’s internal system, which lists products nearing their end of life status. Present in the pack of devices with “limited or no remaining shipments from the vender,” are the Motorola DROID and Devour:
