Samsung Captivate; July 18th
Word is finally coming in on when the Captivate is going to be released and for how much. The release date is going to be just 3 days later than T-Mobile with the Vibrant, and the price point is going to be the same; $199 on 2-year contract. At or around $200 is what everyone selling a Galaxy S series device should be aiming for in order to stay competitive. Same goes for the release date. There’s still no official pricing and release info on the Fascinate or Epic 4G, but I have a feeling that within the next week we will know more.

should i really get a samsung phone? cause i have a samsung impression, and it is horrible. whenever i slide out the keyboard, the screen turns off and i need to take the battery and re insert it. and touchwiz is horrible btw.
Samsung phones are almost always overhyped and almost always under deliver. Despite the impressive specs I’m expecting disappointment.
