The Adobe Flash Summit was full of news for Android fans today, and while Flash still scores big points on the interest scale, AIR seems to have taken over the Android buzz for the moment. And fans of AIR in desktop environments should be thrilled to know that AIR applications seem to run on Android like native programs and are updated via the Android Market. See the demonstration video below, from Android Central.
But first, check out the latest Flash 10.1 news: the app is available in the Android Market, free of it’s beta stamp. It’s only available for phones running 2.2, and apparently, Nexus Ones have temporarily exclusive access. Other Froyo devices should see the software soon; N1s with Flash already installed should be able to update now.
