DROID 2 commercial

DROID does advertizing. If there’s one thing that sets the Motorola DROID series apart from the other Androids on Verizon Wireless (or any other network for that matter), it’s the Hollywood blockbuster grade web and television video campaign that has propelled the gadgets – as well as Google’s operating system – into mainstream consciousness. And it doesn’t look like the trend will fade away with commercial sales of the original DROID.

The DROID 2 commercial below highlights the gadget’s 1GHz processor and support for corporate email with the style and movie-trailer-esque hype we’ve come to expect from the marketing team behind these spots. I have just one question: would robot hands be able to manipulate software via a capacitive touch screen?

The most amazing commercial ever!!!Its scary.Skynet is almost here!! LOL

If the robot's hands emitted a low level electromagnetic field similar to the pad of human fingers then yes they would be able to interact with the software of the DROID 2.

Verizon's droid marketing campaign is pretty epic. I haven't seen phone commercials that have captured my attention like DROIDDOES since maybe the celebrity sidekick commercials from a few years ago.
