DROID 2 in the Sunday paper
Thanks to Floridian, Alex, who sent us a snap of a full-page Verizon ad on an insert from his Sunday paper, the Tampa Tribune.
How many of you are just itching to drop the bills on Moto’s new QWERTY-packing Froyo beast? I know Marques is looking forward to it, but I haven’t decided if it’s worth the switch for me. I was never a fan of the original Droid’s keyboard and have really grown to love virtual keyboards. I’m even (gulp) falling for Swype, despite the regular occurrence of awkward auto-corrections.

I saw the ad in the News & Observer today. Looks like they would be promoting the Droid X more since it's already out. But then again maybe they want to get people excited about the Droid 2, maybe because it'll be out SOON! :)
I would love a European version of this and if I'm not mistaken its still running the same GPU as the original Droid, if this thing had the newer GPU that is running in the Galaxy S phones it would kill all! I've only just started playing with the more graphic intense games and they are definitely smoothest on the galaxy phones.
The Droid 2 is running the same internals as the Droid X, so I'm sure it has the same GPU. Granted, the Galaxy S does dominate even the Droid X.
