HTC’s Glacier turns up on benchmark ranking

Samsung’s Galaxy S series are the current rock stars of Android benchmarks, though we’re all waiting for Froyo’s performance enhancements to reveal the gadgets’ true potential. Now, falling just under the S series (and a couple of Tegra-powered tablets), an HTC device referred to as Glacier is setting the blogosphere abuzz with the possibility of a dual-core Snapdragon and a continuation of T-Mobile’s project Emerald tale. Details are thin and associations flimsy at this point, but it certainly appears that something big is brewing over at Magenta.
